Mott (part 1)

so today's next post is about something that i loved dearly...

my friends said i don't look like an animal lover, i admit it and i din regret not to pose animal-lover-like self to anybody. i like it that way though, i used to think why does this one guy friend i have willingly spending his money to buy the cats food, and why does this another lady friend of mine whole-heartedly spent some amount of money to send just a mere stray cat to Vets.

i kept on wondering bout that until the time when Allah tested me with one of the things that wants me to do something... something that i never did before...

so, there was this kitten, found dying near the toilet in in my hostel, it was bleeding through nose and mouth, and was breathing heavily gasping for air.. Panicked, i went to call my friend, Anis who is well known to be an animal-lover. Double panicked, she asked to bring the kitten to the Vet. So, we dashed on the road and at the same time called my friend to ask for the direction to the clinic. it was indeed a very frustrating afternoon, there was so many vehicle on the road, the condition of the kitten was deteriorating and i just cant find the clinic anywhere. in search, after all the directions we went on, actually the doctor that we were looking for was just nearby our IPG, near UMK at the PC industrial area. pfft

we handed her (the kitten) to the hand of the doctors there and and after that we were asked to fill in some form for the kitten's identity. so, the name of the kitten was Mott.. i dunno why but it seems that it was the only name i could think of for her at that moment. after quite some time in the room, here comes the part where the animal-lover 2, the lady i mentioned earlier arrived and urged the doctors to have the kitten X-rayed..

the kitten gave quite a shocking moment when the doctors did not see any cracks on its head nor its bones but was bleeding like something might had been broken. They managed to locate the injury when they opened its mouth and there was a very thin line of crack on its lelangit.(tetibe takde English version utk this word). As they dunno where the end of the line was, and there was a huge possibility that it might went deep into its inner skeletal system, they gave me two choices... difficult but still, something has to be done..

"Either you give her a shot to put her to sleep, or you give her painkiller that will ease off the pain for sometime but you have to inject her again just to make sure she'll be less painful, which one would you prefer?"

so, being a rock-headed person, i went for the painkiller, instead of the mercy killing procedure. i strongly belief that if we do the latter, we are kinda violating our God's position of determining death or life for His makhluk...

so, she got shot.. with a painkiller that would last for just 6 hours...
